Materials: File Carts as well as all Tennsco products are fabricated
of high quality, cold rolled carbon steel, free of scale or rust
and fully pickled. Exposed edges, corners and surface areas are free of sharp edges and all workmanship is of the highest quality
as measured by the industry. |
Finish: All steel components shall be thoroughly cleaned and
phosphatized for rust resistance in a fi ve-stage pre-treatment
process. A high grade of polyester/epoxy powder paint is to be
applied electrostatically with a gloss reading of between 55 and
65. The finish shall have a salt spray rating of 250 hours or more. |
Single or Double Entry Shelf: Shelves are constructed of 18
Gauge Steel. They have corresponding slots on 1" centers. 16
gauge End Caps are welded on each end of the shelf. |
End Frame: The End Frame
(HE-XX) is formed into a U shape.
It is fabricated from a single
length of 16 gauge 1" x 1" seam
welded steel tube. |
Rubber Bumper: 5" Diameter Rubber Bumpers (RD-1) are
used to shield and protect
the Casters. They are installed at
the Open ends of the End Frames between the caster and the
end of the 1" x 1" Tubing. |
5" Diameter Casters: Large Diameter Polyurethane Casters
(LC-1) are used to optimize the carts mobility. The Casters
are made from Polyurethane with a Polyolifin Core. They have
Sealed Steel Ball Bearings for years of worry free service.
They have a steel shaft that is inserted into the ends of the
End Frames for installation. |
