Available in 2, 3 and 4 drawer models in both letter and legal sizes, the 5000 Series fireproof file cabinets come with follower blocks and frames for hanging folders. File interiors can be customized to fit any number of special file folder applications and have flexible options such as the drawer-in-a-drawer for check filing or index cards.

Each vertical file cabinet is 31" deep with 26" of front-to-back filing space and comes with a UL Class 350-1 hour rating. Those rated as fire resistant assure protection from temperatures reaching 1700º F for one hour - far greater than the normal business fire. Those rated as fire and impact resistant add the extra assurance that if the file folders fall through a floor, up to 30 feet, or is hit by falling beams or debris, the drawers will not jar open. Standard Color Options

1. Additional plunger lock(s) can only be used as a dual control option along with the use of plunger lock on the top drawer of the cabinet.

2. Dual control locking options require both locks to be engaged or disengaged before securing or allowing access to any drawer.

3. Independent control locking option allows for drawers that are secured and accessed independently of the other(s).

4. When a combination lock or Medeco key lock is installed on the top drawer of a file, it replaces the standard Plunger lock.
