Rotary Action Files™ General Information

GENERAL INFORMATION

Product Description: Each rotary tier has an inner and an outer filing capacity. The outer filing capacity should be used when the media being stored has a tapered thickness, such as ring binders and file folders with stapled sheets. The inner filing capacity must be used when the media has a parallel thickness, such as cards and file folders without stapled sheets.

To determine the number of tiers required divide the total required LFI by the proper filing capacityt. It is very important that you properly determine which filing capacity (inner or outer) is used when calculating the number of tiers needed.

Rotary files have permanent dividers and are slotted to accept movable dividers (optional). When adding movable dividers to a tier please remember that 1/32 of a filing inch is lost for each divider added.

Ordering: Media must be specified with all orders. Specify distance from floor to first tier. Specify flange direction up or down.

SPECIFICATIONS

Tiers: Shafts between 36" and 54" diameter tiers are 2" in diameter. All tiers are slotted to accept moveable dividers (optional). One move-able divider is provided with each tier.

Shipping: All shipping weights are approximate. All Rotary Action Files are shipped knocked-down (assembly required), F.O.B., York, PA. All orders are shipped common carrier, prepaid and add, unless otherwise specified.

Finish: All steel parts are thoroughly cleaned using a three-stage iron phosphate washer and then coated withan Epoxy-Hybrid powder coat finish using a state-of-the-art electrostatic paint system. Powder coating provides a superior, attractive, uniform finish that is more durable, scratch and corrosion resistant, and environmentally friendly than liquid paint. All tiers and dividers are available in all standard colors, bases are painted black.
