The “intel” stands for “intelligent” in Intel File. This is accomplished with the integration of a lateral file and sophisticated electronics that eliminate the need for a traditional key.

Every Intel File is built around the same quality constructed our lateral file that is well known throughout the office furniture industry for its strength and durability. The file is made from the highest furniture grade 18-gauge cold rolled steel, with 16-gauge reinforced horizontal cross braces that provide superior structural integrity.

With the high caliber of the Korden file established, electronics replace the standard key way used for locking and unlocking the file. This new system allows entry to the file only after the input of a unique 4 to 14 digital code. For both successful and failed attempts, information is tracked that includes date and time stamps as well as user information if access is granted.

Our Intel File meets the HIPPA and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations with regard to sensitive and confidential file accessibility.

*The top drawer of all Korden 5-high lateral files is a standard drawer. A receding door roll-out shelf is not an option with the Intel File.

All bridge dividers and file reducers are included with every Korden Intel File. This allows all configurations of both front-to-back and side-to-side legal and letter filing.

Lock View Software makes it easy to monitor audit trails fort he last 1500 access attempts, manage users, and assign time-based restrictions and dual credential access.

Downloading and up loading this information is simple with the RJ-11 cable connection between the CompX lock and a laptop computer.

Korden products carry a lifetime guarantee to the original purchaser under normal operating conditions. Damage as a result of improper installation, improper handling, modifications, or abuse are not covered by Korden. Korden's responsibility is to repair or replace the product at the Korden factory. Freight is to be prepaid by the customer. Replacement or repair will be solely at the discretion of Korden.
