The 2000 Phenix Series rises above the rest in affordability and quality.

For quality consistent finishes, these wood veneer bookcases will stand above the competition. Hale offers five choices of finishes Walnut, Cherry, Oak, Natural Maple, and Mahogany. Phenix is offered in six standard heights, from 30" to 84" with a depth of 12". All of the Phenix are shipped knocked down (KD) for freight savings. Assembly is quick and easy with state-of-the-art fasteners for easy assembly. As an option Hale will completely assemble the bookcase for your convenience.

European hinged flat panel wood doors with inlayed wood veneered to give the look of a wood frame. Doors come in 30" or 60" high and can be hung one over another in 84" high bookcases.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

Item Description: 2000 Phenix Series Bookcase   

UNIT DESCRIPTION:

Square edged, Anigre wood veneer bookcases with adjustable shelving.  No overhanging edges for neat end-to-end or back-to-back groupings.  Base front and top rail are recessed from the bookcase front edge.  Shelves are adjustable every 1 ¼”, supported by 4 straight pins for easy adjustment.  Cases can be shipped either knocked down (KD) freight class 85 or as a set up (SU) unit, freight class 125.

Component parts consist of: bag of hardware; pair of end panels; top; top front rail; bottom; bottom front rail; adjustable center shelves and a one piece back.  Hardware consists of 8 quick fasteners per unit.  Complete with metal eccentrics, plastic threaded inserts which receive the threaded metal dowels.  One quick fastener (cam-loc) is placed at each corner on the underside of the bottom panel at each corner of the top panel.  For a neat appearance, the fasteners are placed on the underside of the top panel on 30-36-48” high cases, and on the topside on 60-72-84” high cases.  Four shelf supports fit into a routed out slot at each corner of the adjustable shelf.  Plastic glides are stapled on all four corners of the case.  Number 6 slotted screws are used to secure the back panel along the back edge of the top, ends, and bottom panels, spaced approximately 8” apart. 

Wood Finishes:

Available in medium cherry, natural maple, gun stock walnut, oak, or mahogany finishes. 

Materials:

Ends, top, bottom and shelves are ¾” thick furniture grade, three ply flake core plywood with both faces and front edge finished.  Backs are ¼” thick finished on the inside face.  The back face of the back is smooth hardboard finished off-color.

WARRANTY:  All cases are fully guaranteed against defective in material and workmanship for one year.

Valance Trim Molding Option: A unique valance option offered by Hale sets the 2000 Phenix series bookcases apart from the rest. The unique valance is offered in all finishes.
